Pricing Policy:
Our prices are published in Canadian currency. All credit card transactions & PayPal will be completed in Canadian dollars and will be converted to your home currency by your credit card company, at the exchange rate in use by them.
We do not charge our prices for average, day to day currency rate fluctuations. We reserve the right to adjust prices without notice.
Returns Policy:
We no longer automatically test-run models before they are shipped. If you would like us to test-run any model before we ship, please advise us and we will be happy to do so.
If it is necessary for you to return an item to us, please contact us before sending anything back. We will provide you with instructions for the return of the goods.
Returned shipments must be mailed by Canada Post if within Canada or by US Postal Service if in the USA. Other forms of shipping will not be accepted.
Liability:
The products we sell are not intended for use by children, except under the careful supervision of an adult. Railway models have many small parts and sharp edges.
Britannia Models accepts no responsibility for injuries or harm to any person whatsoever incurred by either the proper handling, or mis-use of any products we sell, whether or not such injuries or harm are the result of a manufacturers defect in any such product.
Product Availability:
While we try to maintain adequate stocks of all product ranges, our distance from our suppliers means that we have to plan our orders in an effort to combine shipments and thus keep our prices competitive. This means that we may not have the item you want, in stock. We will however, back order items for you and most items will become available within one month.
Also, items appearing in a manufacturers catalogue, does not mean that they are yet available. The catalogues are produced for the beginning of the model year and items are released at various times throughout the year. Sometimes an item in the catalogue is delayed or replaced and does not become available in that particular year.
