About UsBritannia Models is a family run business. The business started by in 1994 as an extension of a hobby when the original owner and founder, John, found it difficult to obtain British model railway items in North America. After over 20 years, John & his wife Vivien, decided it was time to retire. At this time, the current owners who had been longtime friends and customers of Britannia Models stepped in to make sure that Britannia Models continued to bring British model trains to the Canadian market for years to come. On January 1, 2016, Connor Park & Janet Park took over Britannia Models and have continued to grow Britannia, expanding its British train products as well as expanding Britannia's to include Canadian HO & diecast model cars. Britannia Models has grown to the point that we have the largest inventory of British model trains in Western Canada.
We believe we are the place in North America for a comprehensive selection of British model trains and accessories as well as a place for advice and assistance with British Railway modelling! As a family-run, small business, our customers are very important to us and we try to reflect this in our service. If you need clarification about any of the products that we carry, just email, or call us, and we will do our best to provide answers to your questions. We are NOT a remote, click and shop, catalogue store. Rather, we try to be as much of a full service store in the on-line environment, as if you were shopping in person.
