Goods sheds were common sights at larger town stations in the early days of the railways. Dunster station in Somerset has a goods shed as part of the sidings based there, once a place for goods to be loaded an unloaded is now serves as a workshop for the heritage railway team.
Based on Dunster on the Heritage railway, West Somerset Railway. Initially part of the Bristol and Exeter Railway, ownership of the station would pass to the GWR in 1876, BR in 1948 and onto the preservation society in 1976.
